Muqtedar Khan: The Future of Islam in the West

April 25, 2008: Dr. Muqtedar Khan spoke on “The Future of Islam in the West” at Salisbury School. Dr. Kahn is Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Delaware. He is the Director of the Islamic Studies Program and the author of several books including Debating Moderate Islam: The Geopolitics of Islam and the West (University of Utah Press, 2007). Dr. Khan is also associated with the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding and is a Fellow of the Alwaleed Center at Georgetown University. He has been the President, Vice President and General Secretary of the Association of Muslim Social Scientists.
